Congratulations to our winner for our "Chasing Greatness Daily" initiative, junior Aryahi Patel! Aryahi was nominated by her tennis coach, Johann Mahmood. Mahmood States " Aryahi transitioned from volleyball to full-time tennis last year as a junior, Aryahi attended every practice, match, and voluntary winter weight room session while maintaining Scholar Athlete status with a challenging AP course load. Her growth mindset is remarkable—she worked her way up from the doubles lineup to earn the #2 singles position in just one season, demonstrating exceptional coachability and relentless pursuit of improvement. She also won her first match of the season against a very strong opponent from Gabriel Richard in a tight three set battle. Aryahi balances her rigorous academics, athletic commitments, and personal development with the discipline and maturity of a leader, making her a strong candidate for team captain next season. >

Congratulations to our winner for our "Chasing Greatness Daily" initiative, senior Avarie Spuller! Avarie was nominated by her softball coach, Sarah Street. Street states " Avarie is a true epitome of what it takes to be a good leader, she is the first on the field, last off and the loudest cheering on her teammates. Avarie is committed to play college softball at Northwood University next year, her talent is special. Avarie's bat anchors the top of our lineup and when she gets on base, which she often does, don't expect her to stay put, she pushes the defense to their limit with her great speed and smart baserunning skills. Avarie is not just an offensive threat, she makes defensive highlight reel plays regularly and makes them look easy.
