Congratulations to our winner for our "Chasing Greatness Daily" initiative, senior Megan Michener. Megan was nominated by her varsity swim and dive coach Ed Weber. Weber states Megan is a natural leader who sets a strong example for her teammates. She regularly attended early 6 a.m. workouts throughout the summer and leads her training group with focus and determination. At swim and dive meets, Megan is always thinking ahead organizing her teammates, leading cheers, setting up equipment, and helping everyone stay prepared for competition. Despite facing an ankle injury that made swimming difficult, she persevered and continued to lead by example, maintaining her positive attitude and commitment even when she couldn’t move as freely as usual.
