Saamara Khan is a senior at Canton High School and the first girl in school history to qualify for the state wrestling tournament. Competing at 135 pounds, she holds a 33–10 record this season.

Saamara has put in the work year-round and earned her spot through consistency, grit, and steady improvement. Her state qualification marks an important moment for the program and sets the standard for the next generation of wrestlers at Canton.

Saamara will compete at the State Finals at Ford Field on Friday, March 6th and Saturday, March 7th!
