The Canton Cobras delivered a powerful performance at the 2025 Wayne County Girls Swimming & Diving Championships, with every athlete contributing to the team’s success. Facing some of the strongest programs in the region, the Cobras showcased their depth, teamwork, and competitive spirit, earning an impressive 3rd-place finish behind Grosse Pointe South and Northville High School.  

Relay Highlights:

• 200 Medley Relay (A): Mina Kennedy, Audrey Huey, Ximena Murillo, and Jasmine Pham finished in 1:57.11.
• 200 Medley Relay (B): Perisu Okuyucu, Erin Yonker, Caitlin Gregory, and Amya Bosanko recorded a time of 2:07.93.
• 200 Freestyle Relay (A): Hannah Gurgel, Mina Kennedy, Abigail McAskin, and Jasmine Pham swam a fast 1:42.09.
• 200 Freestyle Relay (B): Michelle Zhang, Erin Yonker, Liv Lecluyse, and Amya Bosanko added depth with a 1:56.49.
• 400 Freestyle Relay (A): Abigail McAskin, Audrey Huey, Ximena Murillo, and Hannah Gurgel capped off the meet with a 3:45.85.
• 400 Freestyle Relay (B): Ella Strutton, Liv Lecluyse, Isabel Ellinger, Kate Stevens finished in 4:13.17
