P-CEP Girls Field Hockey Varsity traveled to Novi on September 24. to take on the Wildcats. Novi scored immediately with P-CEP scrambling to figure out their plays.  Allie Delaney stood strong to Novi's offense, preventing any scores the rest of the 1st half.

Novi took off like a power house and scored 2 in the 3rd quarter. Elizabeth Burnham was able to put P-CEP on the scoreboard in the 4th quarter. Final score 1-3.

 

September 26 P-CEP JV traveled to Greenhills, Ann Arbor on Friday 9/26.  First quarter was filled with a lot of defensive work, but Greenhills was still able to clinch a ball in the net.

Greenhills scored again in the second giving us a 0-2 score.  P-CEP Panthers goalie and defenders protected our goal from the Gryphons in the third. Greenhills scored in the fourth with 40 seconds left in the game.

Final score 0-3.

 

P-CEP Varsity played hard against the Greenhills Gryphons but could not seem to connect.  Greenhills scored in the 1st quarter.  The second quarter was nothing but corner after corner.  Greenhills had

5 corners scoring on one and P-CEP had two corners.  The third quarter was well defended with help from Allie Delaney and Avery James, Goalie.  Avery James had 5 saves in the fourth and Elizabeth Burnham

had 2 shots on goal but was unable to put P-CEP on the board. Greenhills snuck another one in the net in the fourth bringing the final score 0-3.

 

P-CEP Varsity Girls Field Hockey hosted Dearborn on the North Turf.  The teams were holding tough, ending the 1st quarter with a 0-0 score despite Elizabeth Burnham's 3 shots on goal and Jaclyn Schlansers shot on goal.

P-CEP turned the scoreboard with a power shot into the net by Elizabeth Burnharm.  P-CEP defense Bella Bozinovski was relentless in defending the Panthers goal. 1-0 going into the 4th with a great attempt on goal by Olivia Weiss and 

clinch by Camryn Wilson assisted by Emily Foss.  Final score 2-0.
