The Chiefs took 5th at the Hanson’s invitational on Saturday. Several Chiefs ran personal best times at a new course for this race.
Shane Andrews led the Canton runners with an impressive, season best 16:27. His time bested the previous Canton record at the Hanson’s race by 16 seconds. He was followed by Grant Hoffmeyer (16:44), Garrett Nagelhout (17:16), Daniel Jimenez (17:20), and Braden Heimbaugh (17:31).
Career best times were run by Daniel Jimenez, Braden Heimbaugh, Faris Adam (19:17), Carter Caris (19:47), Daniel Carr (18:06), Ben Devine (18:14), Josh Knoll (19:16), Drew LaBelle (17:45), Jacob Lasecki (20:36), Sean Majeske (19:40), Chatham McGuire (20:49), Joe Michalek (17:32), Rohit Navaneethan (23:55), Sam Pierson (21:42), Greg Sigler (18:40), Adam Styron (18:41), Gnanasai Vepa (18:29), Vincent Volpone (20:45), and Andy Wu (21:08).
Season best times were run by Shane Andrews, Jonah Nicholas (19:55), Karl Nuler (18:03), Sam Reinders (18:44), Nelson Vayda (20:24), and Sam Wolf (19:45).
Gnanasai Vepa is now 31st on the all time Freshmen list.
Joe Michalek has moved up to 11th on the all time Freshmen list.
Daniel Carr is 48th on the all time fastest Sophomore list.
Drew LaBelle is 38th on the all time Sophomore list.
Daniel Jimenez is 34th on the all time Junior list.
Braden Heimbaugh is 43rd on the all time Junior list.
Shane Andrews is 8th on the all time Senior list.
