Mackenzie was a Howell High School Swim Team member who suddenly passed away during her sophomore year, the Monday following the 2005 state meet. For the past several years Canton has attended this annual Memorial Meet. This year on Saturday, August 24th Howell, Hartland, Canton, and Pinckney each competed in the 14th Annual Kenzie Klassic.

The format of the meet is to run four heats of each event. Each event is scored separately. Each team’s A swimmer will swim against other team’s A swimmers entered into the event; B vs B, C vs C, and D vs D.

Canton had many outstanding performances. These are Canton’s event winners:
