Chiefs News · Canton Men’s Track & Field Team Opens Dual Meet Season with a victory over Livonia Churchill

The Canton Men’s Track & Field Team opened their 2018 Dual Meet Season Tuesday April 10th with a convincing win over Livonia Churchill 85-47.

The team was able to sweep three events( Shot Put,200m Dash & 300m Hurdles) on their way to their first victory of the season. First place finishes were recorded by Evan Carter ,Pole Vault -12’0″,Lawrence Austin, Shot Put – 44’9.75″, James Deese Discus -143’1″, Caden Domzalski 100m Dash -11.80,Garret Nagelhout 1600m run – 4:49.31, Brandon Mehl 300m Hurdles -44.69, Richard Smith 200m Dash -24.25, Daniel Jimenez 3200m Run -10:43.71,  the  400m Relay Team of Richard Smith,Brandon Mehl, Sam Pennock, and Jawuan Frazier -45.69, and the 1600m Relay Team of Srikar Komanduri, Brandon Mehl, Alex Poe, and Dirk Thornhill -3:44.07

The team’s next meet this Thursday April 12th with John Glenn has been postponed until next week due to unuseable condition of the Plymouth JV Track
