Teen Town Hall Discussion on Sports and Politics

This will be a great opportunity for teens, particularly student-athletes, to learn and discuss important topics, such as:
  • How sports can be a tool to promote inclusion and positive social change;
  • Juvenile Justice Reform, which is currently being protested by many professional athletes; and
  • How you can use your voice to shape your future!
Students will also have an opportunity to participate in a letter writing campaign re: juvenile justice reform!

Jocelyn Benson, CEO of The Ross Initiative in Sports for Equality

Michael Carter, Attorney, Federal Defenders Office; ACLU Detroit Board Member

Terrence Quinn, President, TGQ Law Firm; former member of University of Michigan Football, 1997 Championship Team
